HHP Disliking vacation homes

Hello! I recently acquired HHP and of the few homes I did, the villagers basically told me how perfect and wonderful the homes were. I never considered myself good at home decor and was expecting to have a bit of a learning curve as I built up my skills in this game.

Is it possible at all for villagers to ever dislike the vacation homes we build for them? Just wondered if I got lucky my first few times or if the game just keeps up the "no one is ever unhappy in this game" and we can basically build whatever we feel like, regardless of what they ask for

Seeing how HHP and main game are seemingly relaxing in nature it makes perfect sense none of your interior decorating on HHP will have a negative impact. The furthest it really ever goes is if you do low-effort or just needed item homes they remark on how quick you designed lol I thought that was kind of cute. If you spend 20+ minutes they do mention that you obviously took your time : ) also as a bonus for good effort homes you get wall/floor/rug rewards when they're outside which is lovely. Overall no punishment/rudeness from clients which for me is purely helpful and relaxing when I just want to grind for Poki in order to get my items for catalogue lol, i'm planning to head back to many to take my time!

I think as long as you include all the items they listed in their order list then it’s fine even if you don’t do any arrangements at all…I haven’t tried to see yet what will happen tho if you don’t.

They will not let you finish unless needed items are there hahaha I tried by accident and that's it, if you chose I've got ideas you get free reign w/o the necessary items pretty simple and relaxing^^ Even with I've got ideas I put a single item down and no repercussions luckily.

They seem to like everything you do as long as you use the required items. If you forget to add one or accidentally remove one of the required items they just ask you to use it. I wouldn’t mind if they said they didn’t like an item.

I am not a master designer but the purpose is for it to be a relaxing side game away from your island. I really enjoy just taking a break and talking to the islanders in my school, etc. and visiting them at their vacation homes. Sometimes they give me items as well!

in Happy Home Designer it was the same way, they always liked the home you designed for them as long as it had the items which they asked for in it. you cant even complete the home without putting those items in, so you can basically go crazy with the design and as long as you include the specific furniture they want they'll be happy.

it's kinda nice actually, keeps the game relaxing with some creative freedom. I would hate to put a lot of effort into a home and the villager be like "ew this house sucks lol"

Most real designs will work
I've been told before that I needed floor space for them to move in the room. But that was me making a horrid house for a horrid villager. So lack of room was on purpose.

My bf dumped that fossilised pile of crap in the middle of the room without any furniture etc and Gladys acted like it was the best thing ever. If you select "I've got ideas" you don't even have to use the required items.
