HHA Theme Challenge questions

So Ive been reading some guides, and it said its best to fill up one room with the necessary items for the theme. So, do I just empty the other rooms ?

Yeah pretty much. Which theme did you choose?

Like, in my old town, I did the fairy tale theme challenge. So I used mermaid set, Princess set, rococo set, lovely set, harvest set, and ice set in each room. (Pretty sure they add bonus points if you have the complete set in a room) So put one complete set that fit your theme and add other misc. items that go with the same theme. Like I would have added stuff animals and toys and stuff in the room. Oh by the way basement doesn't count towards the score.

I chose the harmonious one since my house already had Zen exteriors. I thought its easier to get the furnitures than re do my exteriors.
