HHA Suggestions

Hello! First of all, I'm sorry if this is something that doesn't need to have a different thread or if it's already in existence. Though on to the issue at hand, I'd like to at least get a little bit more for my HHA Score before working adding the additional floors/rooms to at least 8 or 10k currently around 6k. However, I really don't want to ruin my Asian-like decor so what I'm looking for is suggestions on what to buy and/or do to increase my score.

You could always go for sets? IIRC, you get higher scores for sets.
Don't 100% hold me to it though, I don't pay too much attention to HHA. I'm sure there are loads of guides out there though.

It is usually best to have complete sets or themes in a room to get a lot of bonus points, but since you don't have other rooms and you don't want to really mess with that one, the best thing you can try to do is add unorderable items to increase your score. I managed to get 10,000 points by just putting a few gyroids and fortune cookie items in my main room without any other rooms in the house.

i highly recommend going with sets. its only temporary and i easily got gold with the mermaid set and i think the ice set. a few villager pics and some unorderables in each room and that was it. done and i was free to decorate however i like!

For fairly easy HHA bonus points, display seasonal lucky items (7,777 HHA points x # of items). As far as I recall, multiples of identical items do not stack.
