HHA Gold Badge tips?

Okay, I've been putting this off for months because I really didn't want to strip down my rooms completely since my house was finally reaching a point where I was very content with it. But I've decided I need to get the gold badge for achieving 150,000 points with the HHA and for some reason I'm really struggling. I'm very reluctant to pull apart my last two rooms because they're full of small items and it's going to be extremely annoying doing so, but if needs must...

I'm wondering though, what is the easiest way to score over 150,000? Does the feng shui mechanic really make a huge difference? Are there any particular sets I should invest in to make this quick and painless? I remember last Christmas I filled a room with the full ice set because I was giving it away and that alone bumped my points up over 100,000 but I seem to be missing the lamp and clock and apparently that's a big deal, because I'm stuck at 80,000 currently. I also read that music boxes are worth a lot of points, but is it worth the time invested getting them made?

Any tips? What sets did you use?

not sure about tips, but when I was doing the challenge to unlock the gold exteriors, I just stuffed my rooms with full collections and that was enough. That was a while ago though so I can't really remember how many sets I had, I just know I didn't have any other items but sets.

Yeah this is what I'm trying right now. So far I'm using the green, blue, princess, mermaid, ice and rococo sets (minus a few pieces here and there) and I've stuffed in some other items like villager pics and real art. I'm at 130,000+ now, getting really close! Does anyone else have any tips? ;o;

I should also mention I've made sure that nothing is facing the wall, everything is fully interactive and I've arranged things as best as I can for the feng shui bonus.

Try gyroids or flowers?

I put a rare complete set in each room and got my badge. Take out any orderable sets.

I put whatever gyroids I had in one room and it boosted it a bit. I don't have many rare sets on hand so I'm pretty much limited to orderable sets. I'm close now, 140,000. I think a few more pieces of the modern set should do it. Thanks for the tips!

Villager's pictures really increased my score, fill your tables with them.

Yup, I had those out already. Turns out the sleek + modern combo in a room is worth a huge amount of points. Just adding those sets tipped my score over 170,000. Done and done! At last...
