HH showcase help

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to get new people/houses in the showcase, i've played with some new friends recently and would really love to add their homes to my collection but everytime i check no one new has showed up. Do we know if this is just a streetpass thing, cos i generally only play online now. Thanks in advance

Yes, you can only get houses in the HHA showcase by streetpassing other players, unfortunately. I have 3 houses total in mine and they are from my husband and my second 3DS.
