(Discovered on hautecouturecrossing's YouTube video on 5 Tips for a Better New Leaf Town!)

It's literally called 'Guide for Animal Crossing New Leaf'. It's incredible. Here's are only some surface of what you can do:
1. Input what villagers are in your town to track their birthdays.
2. With the correct date & time set, it lets you know what events are coming up, and what bugs and fish are currently out
3. You can check off the bugs and fish you've collected sorted by month
4. You can check off tools, emotes, and badges you have
5. It allows you to look out every villager by their species and view their personality/birthday

Plus there's a few other neat features. I don't know what anyone else, but it's annoying having to look all this stuff up. The convenience of an app is quite nice. And I'm forgetful anyway, lol. I don't know if this will be helpful for anyone, or if I'm just late to the party about the knowledge of this. I apologize if I am. But I figured this nugget was worth sharing.

I've been using this app to plan out my dream villagers and future town themes, and I really love it !! I haven't used it for it's other features, so can't comment on those, but I'm glad you gave it a shout out !!

I wish there was an app for custom furniture that showed you all the views of cyrus customization for any set item. <3

“Planner for AC:NL Free” is also a neat app! I’ve got both the guide and the planner on my phone. The planner app has mostly the same features I just think it’s a cuter UI haha and it’s got more pictures readily available (like when viewing the KK songs or all the villagers) instead of just a list
