HELP!!!!

Guys I really don’t know what to do... I saved up for AGES to reach 1 million bells to invest in turnips properly like a lot of people do. All went smoothly earlier today when I purchased them and I’ve just turned on my switch to find that they’ve ALL SPOILED!!!!!!!!!! What do I do? What happened? I literally bought them earlier today and I know it’s just a game but I want to cry because it took me so long to save up and I put loads of island projects on hold. I’m so sad even though none of this is real and it’s making not want to play the game because all I did was drop the turnips out of pockets onto the beach/grass to store them so I could sell on Turnip Exchange... I honestly don’t know what to do I just feel like nothing is going right in my real life at the moment and this game was my little escape but now all of my effort was for nothing can someone please tell me why all of my turnips spoiled in less than one day?

Not days/weeks or anything like that. I just turned the clock back by 3 hours this evening so that it was daylight on my island as I prefer to terraform/decorate during the daytime. I just give up to be honest I was so excited to finally make a ton of money so I could transform my island instead of having to save up money for stairs/moving buildings and now I’m back to square one

That's still kinda strange. I know for a fact that time travelling backwards instantly rots turnips. But I didn't think it would affect turnips if you time travelled back a few hours...

I have never time traveled more than couple of hours and I always put my switch back to the correct time before I sleep

When u have turnips I believe u can go up to 3 days forward but u can’t travel backwards

Going back in time by any amount will auto-spoil your turnips, sorry to say.

If it helps, you have almost 70 TBT which could be sold to a buyer for around 700k. Try your luck to recouperate some of your losses that way?

There are some people who are willing to buy your forum bells, which show when you click on "Shop" iin the top right corner-ish. I think you could get around 700k for them although I'm not exactly sure what the rates are. If you have any NMTS, you could sell them too! I really want to help you out by giving 1million, but I just blew it all on turnips too ;=;

Trust me! I've done a few TBT sales, and everyone on this forum is super trust worthy. There have been times where I would disconnect without taking any items but still leaving payment on someone's island. They would immediately message me back and it would get resolved ASAP. A lot of TBT buyers are really OG players and are hella trust worthy! Please don't throw this opportunity away </3

If you click on Shop, and then click on "Bells" it should open up a menu. Then you go to the "Donate" tab and once you've confirmed a transaction, donate your bells to them. Preferably do this once you're on their Island and they have the bells dropped. I can vouch for Peach (person who commented above). I've had transactions with her before and she's lovely!
