Why do we all have to wear these ridiculous ties?
Static wants to move. Some other villager told me. I kept on talking to him, he didn't say anything, and now he doesn't want to talk anymore! How do I convince him to move?!?!

Get your swimsuit to do the dive trick. Swim for five minutes then directly go up to him for you to be pinged. Then talk to him after getting his ping.
If that doesnt happen, the game must be telling you to rest. It’s annoying but just talk to one villager besides him.
If that doesn’t work, save and quit and reload your game. Getting him to ping you is your top priority.
If you want him to move, then be aware that talking to him might change his mind.

This. Seriously. Once he pings you to move.. DO NOT talk to them. Villagers can change their mind if they bring up the conversation and Cranky villagers LOVE doing this on you.

Yup. I believe its Cranky, Snooty and Smug villagers who are most likely to decide to not move after conversations with them. All others can as well, but these three personalities are most likely to not move.

Next time this occurs, you boot up and make your rounds, check all your villagers. If someone you want to move pings and changes their mind on you right there, reset/turn the game off and reload.

I just decided that I don't want him. I made him a "dreamie" because he moved in and I was just being lazy.. Anyways if anybody wants him, I have an auction up
