Help!! Won't stop saving!

I went to "quit and save", now my game won't stop saving and go back to the main screen. What do I do? It won't let me go to the home screen of my DS either. Anybody else had this happen?

Thank you It did finally quit after 20 minutes. I thought I was gonna lose my town, I was honestly freaking out for last 20 minutes. Crisis averted

Next time try flicking the wifi switch. Whenever this happened to me, flicking the wifi switch made it stop

Unfortunately I don't have a wifi switch anymore, it's the one thing I can't stand about upgrading my DS to the New 3DS. I feel like they took away a little bit of my power.

that really annoys me too, if a trade goes wrong I can't just flick the wifi switch to abort it, I have to actually turn my ds off.
