Help with villager list

Hi. So I am narrowing down the villagers I want in my forest town. I just cant decide on what list to go with. Any suggestions? lol. So many villagers would fit my theme, so it is hard to choose.

Keeping: Bam, Freya, Gabi, Drago, Marshal (undecided)
Not keeping: Frita, Angus, Friga, Margie, Chadder

Knox, Sterling, Bam, Drago, Moe, Gabi, Bluebear, Freya, Molly, Hazel

Wolfgang, Bam, Drago, Moe (or maybe Nate would be better?), Marshal, Molly, Gabi, Bluebear, Freya, Hazel

Bam, Freya, Gabi, Bluebear, Drago, Nate, Marshal, Molly, Hazel, Lobo(or Rowan/Rolf /Apollo/Avery)

In terms of species, deers, birds and squirrels would fit in my opinion.

Maybe: Bam, Freya, Gabi, Bluebear, Drago, Marshal, Molly, Hazel, Lobo, and how about Cranston or Drake for your second lazy. I think you could do with more bird type villagers for your forest town, but wolves also fit the theme nicely so a wolf cranky to pair with Freya works well too well to take that spot for an eagle.

Choose villagers with a natural colour palette, not pink, blue, etc

I can tell you really want to have Bam...so I would consider him the villager that pulls your town together.

He is a deer, but he is blue (and adorable and awesome) so how about a Fairy Tale Forest town?

Keeping the paths and trees and bushes very natural "mori" style, but the villagers and your houses could add a pop of color.

Bam - Jock - pop of blue
Freya - Snooty - pop of pink
Bluebear - Peppy
Marshal - Smug - pop of white
Tammy - Uchi - pop of yellow
Drago - pop of green

I think Knox and Sterling are both great choices, but they are kind of overused. You have villagers you love; I say choose any species of forest animal type villagers - deer - wolves - bear - bear cubs - eagles - squirrels ...and have fun with it!

You villagers should be who you love, not chosen based on the color of their fur/feathers/etc.

It's your town and I'm excited to see who you choose!

oh, thank you. That is a nifty idea. So would Tammy be a better uchi choice over Hazel? and I thought Nate would be a good second lazy cause he is a bear.

And yes, I love Bam. He is my fav villager.

I don't know if you like her or not, but when I think of forest town, the first villager that comes to mind is Fauna.
