Hey guys. I've been trying to move a villager into this space with absolutely no luck. I was wondering if this space doesn't follow the requirements needed for a villager to place their lot down on. Much appreciated for any help!
Are you sure you aren’t leaving any other space open for them? When a villager of mine won’t move to the exact place I want to place them, 100% of the times is because I had accidentally erased some paths and left room for them to set.
I second that, one time when I was plot setting I erased ONE tile that was in my flower patch that allowed them to plot there.
So I time traveled back to 5:30am with my mayor, put back down that tile, then went back to plot setting. The animals were now going in the plots I made for them.
That spot should be good. At first, I thought the rock could be the reason, but I looked up the villager house buffer zones and the rock is more than far enough away.
I did have an issue with a similar placement once where the space I left should have been good, but a rock was diagonally in the front. When I moved the plot one space further away from the rock, my villager plotted there without issue. Maybe if you're okay with it, try moving the plot one space to the left and see if that helps?
I think the plot is too close to the water. The villager also needs 1 empty space perimeter around the plot you want their house to be in. Just a heads up!
