so.. I'm plot resetting Bam, and I want him in ONE, VERY SPECIFIC spot.
I know that's my first mistake but I have a few more in mind just in case

my problem is... I have the spot I want him in surrounded by paths, but I didn't but a path every two squares like you're supposed to because I thought "oh it won't be that bad"
yeah. I now realize that that was pretty... stupid.
now my question, could I set the time back to the current time and set paths down without him plotting? I'm assuming I can, because the start of the day was never saved, right? if I select my mayor and set the time back, my town will have never been loaded after 6 am... so it should be fine, right? I'm asking before I do anything just to be safe... I'd rather keep going with what I'm doing rather than have him be in a spot that's absolutely AWFUL where I can't move him.

Yes, as long as you haven't loaded the game with any of the existing characters after 6 a.m. Just set the time to the day before (when you invited him), lay more paths down, then change the time to plot reset. Good luck c:

alright... I need more help. Bam is being VERY stubborn. There is one spot I want him to move into and he just won't, even though I gave him wiggle room and everything.

sorry for the bad pictures, getting them off my phone is the fastest way I know

I know it's a 3x4 space, but that's because I'm okay with it being either to the left or the right (I was afraid it was too close to the fire pit)
is something wrong with this spot or is Bam just being stubborn?

Is he trying to move in where the last one moved out? Last time I moved a character into a particular spot, it took nearly 30 resets to get him to move away from where the last one was.

he tried to move there once, but mostly he's moving into places where I forgot to place down a path. there's just a couple little spots where I didn't place paths (because I forgot they can move over trees) and he just keeps going there

Just keep changing the time back until you've covered every area with paths. It's time consuming which is why it's best to leave the patterns down if you're going to be moving in more villagers. You'll get there eventually, I had to go back 5 times in total just to get the areas I missed

due to the fact that its nearly 4:30 AM and I've been at this for hours... I've decided to give up lol

thanks for all your help everyone! he didn't move into where I wanted him to but... he moved pretty close to my fence. I was gonna destroy my fence to put my next villager there anyway, so I'm just gonna take it :p
