Ok, so, I'm planning on doing natural paths for my town, but I literally don't have a clue how. If I put patterns down, will the ground still wear away underneath them? Because that's the way I'm planning to do it at the moment.

Also, what's a quick way to regrow grass? Just for future reference, in case I want to rework paths or something.

Thanks!

Yes, grass does still wear under paths.

When it rain grass regrows faster and when it snows it regrows even faster.

Good luck! I know how annoying natural paths are but they do look beautiful in the end!

grass wears under patterns, but slower. make sure you don't tt ahead a lot (if you don't play for two in game weeks your paths will disappear).
i have heard that opening the game several times in one day helps, but idk if i have noticed that myself. make sure to run on all your paths at least once or twice every day. good luck ayyy

My idea would be to dig holes around the paths you want so it can be consistent. The second would be to friends or other people to help run over and over again. I'm currently figuring out where I want my dirt paths, so if I learn anything new, I'll tell you!

Yes definitely, the ground will still wear away. I'm having that problem right now actually with my paths since i'm not going for that effect but it's definitely a much easier way of making natural paths since you'll have a set path that you want to wear away in a more neater way so grass wear won't spread to any undesired areas. If you play often like I do, you'll eventually see your paths wear away depending on how often you use your paths. (for example my retail path and my path to the town hall are quite worn since I use them a lot) so I recommend just playing the game a lot and utilizing your paths as much as you can. Also another important thing to remember is that these paths can be quite time consuming, since in the winter natural paths disappear so you'll probably have to keep that in mind.
