I need help deciding where to put each room in my house.. for example, most people turn the entrance room into their living room, ect. ect. but i have no idea which room to use for my bedroom, and all the other rooms. I also would love some ideas for what rooms to have in my house. My town is a forest town if that helps, generally i find different town themes suit different rooms better. Thanks :)

Forest bedroom?
You can use a leaf bed, firefly lamp, mush tables & chairs and leaf piles.
I can send you a pic of one of my forest rooms.

I have a non-forest dreamtown, but one of my characters has a forest-y house.

as for where to put rooms, i have a living room as my main room. the kitchen is to the left and i also have a greenhouse in the back. the right room is rococo right now but it might not stay like that c: my upstairs is a bedroom, and the basemen a 'gaming room' i guess? there's a sloppy sofa, tv and wii board in there right now. my town is also a forest town! all of my rooms don't follow themes or series (other than the rococo room) and have tons of plants and are based on the color brown. my house exterior is all brown colored as well.

An interesting question, but it might be hard to answer. What might make sense to me might end up not feeling right to you. It could be a matter of experimenting to see what feels right.

For example, my town is also foresty, and of the two main houses I've finished, they're not really designed as full-on houses that you'd live in. Each room in each house is its own little tableau. One has a zen garden in the main room and a bedroom/salon in the back on the main floor (the room of an older woman who was once a showgirl), while the other has a bedroom (of sorts) in the basement, though I've never really thought of it as a bedroom proper--the bed in it is more to evoke the idea of having a dream (if that makes sense). Another room is full of tree standees, plants and gnomes, as though you've wandered into a meadow and realised you're not entirely alone.

You could think about the character that's inhabiting the house and see if anything about their personality lends itself to a certain type of room theme and placement. Does your character like to tend plants and harvest things? Make potions? Read books? Does she cook? All of these "hobbies" or traits could be inspiration for rooms.

You could consider loosely imitating the habitat of an animal - if you think of a bird or a squirrel, the bedroom might be higher up in the house, but if you think of a badger, the bedroom might be underground.

So that ain't a definitive answer, but I hope it's (vaguely) helpful or gives some food for thought.

How about a Lobby Room (Cabana Furniture with lots of plants)
Left Room/Spa (Spa Mat, Outdoor Bath, Lots of plants)

Bedrooms are generally the upstairs one

For a forest-y town, log cabins would make a lot of sense? If you think about the warm, cozy environments of cabins with fireplaces and wood-burning stoves. Thing cabin furniture, ranch furniture, and lots of knick-knacks
