Help with finding new fruit trees

Hi everyone, I’ve been buying one nook miles ticket and using it to travel to new islands once a day since the game first came out, the first couple of times I used them was great, got a new flower & new fruit tree but since then I end up on the islands that have the same fruit tree & flower I started the game with so I still have 3 trees to find & lots of flowers. My question is will I eventually get all the fruit trees and flowers just by using nook miles tickets? I don’t want to buy the monthly online subscription thing but it’s driving me mad now any hints or tips, best times to travel or anything to help me get the rest of the trees and flowers would be much appreciated!!!

No you can only get 2 types of fruit on islands your main fruit and your sister fruit you have to get the other 3 from other players.

Nope! You only get your sister fruit and flower - I have cherries and mums and my sister fruit and flowers are pears and pansies.
You can find different flowers in Nooks and the recycle box, as well as sometimes your mom will send you non-native fruit or flowers.
You can slowly get all the fruits and flowers, however it just takes time.

Leif occasionally sells flowers that aren't sold in your Nook shop, but with the fruit, there is (I believe) only 3 you can get while playing offline: your own, one from your in-game mum (edit: as in mother, lol I forgot about chrysanthemums) and one from your Nook Mile Islands, unfortunately.

Oh, I thought your Mom would give you more than one kind of non-native fruit. That would suck if there was absolutely no way to get all the fruits without online

I'm not sure actually! I've only been given pears from her and I had apples and oranges from my NMT islands. I don't TT so I'm not sure if she sends you more like a year later.

Thanks everyone, looks like I’ll just have to remain patient & hope that one day I will somehow manage to collect them all bit annoying if the only way to get them is through online, I don’t want to waste money on it as I have no friends with the same game anyway so the contents of the game should be available if you have online or not or it should say when you buy the game that you won’t be able to collect everything without online subscription
