Help with Events?

I'm currently on early October in my game (I restarted my town this Autumn and set the date to June-July time) so I was just wondering about the upcoming events in Oct/Nov/Dec? I know there's a thing for Halloween and Christmas, but I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do for them, or what I need to get before those events, or any other events? I TT, so I'm hoping to get past Halloween and Christmas in the next few weeks and get to a current time.

I see all the Christmas stuff going on, and it's making me long for snow in my town! It's still green in mine!

I know there's something to do with a snowman raffle? Will people on here still be taking part in that in the next few weeks, or will I have missed my chance?

I didn't do Halloween, but I did do Toy Day, or Christmas.

Toy Day - In December, gather clues of what villagers want for Toy Day. On 12/24, after 6:00 PM, Jingle will give you a bag of gifts for the villagers. Give out all gifts correctly and get an item.

I don't know what you're talking about a snowman raffle, care to elaborate?

Are you talking about Snowman Bingo? You make a snowman with equally sized snowballs and he gives you a card. If you talk to him he rolls a number once a day and you can go to other towns to help.

So with the Snowman Bingo you get a card, and if he doesn't have your number, you go to someone else's town to see if there's has that number?

Your bingo card will be valid until you get a bingo. So yes, you can visit other towns to check out their numbers. The bingo snowman will also be in your own town for 3 days until it melts. You can get a number each day - just talk to him. You can also build a snowman each day and end up with quite a number of them in town before they all melt away.
