help plot resetting?

never had to do this before
could someone please help? ive saved the day before blanches plot should be placed, and have now ttd to her plot day. i keep quitting (and not saving) but each time the plot comes back in the same place? but i know i havent saved at all during this day

could i please get some help? ;w;

Are you using your mayor? If you are, her plot won't move.

did you load your mayor? if you did your town state is saved the way it is, so Blanche's plot is now set permanently in the place it was when you first loaded up

you have to start a new save file to be able to plot reset!

Blanches plot is permanent now I think; if not sorry for the wrong answer. But I think once you load your mayor, thats the villagers permanent spot.

Helloo, like said by everyone else plot resetting will not work once you load up your mayor.
Because you've already loaded your town by selecting your mayor's file, unfortunately there is no way to reverse the plot.
As soon as you load the game with your mayor once, the plot is finalized no matter if you hit reset. The only way to switch Blanches spot is after she moves in and with the use of hacks, which is not allowed to be discussed on the forums.

yeah sorry it's stuck there permanently!

this is because when you load any existing character Isabelle basically saves your town before you start up, at the part when it says "preparing your town", so Blanche's plot is stuck down now

if you start a new character before you start your mayor the town isn't saved before you start up, so you're able to keep quitting and resetting where the plot is

if you moved Blanche out you would have to then move 16 villagers in and out before you could get her back in your town (known as the 16 villager cycle)

yeah that'll work but as petejohnson said, you're going to have to cycle her out

if you're not using the help of hacks, honestly I would say to just work with her spot. But if it's a really bad spot, and you're that determined to cycle, then good on ya!
