Help out with wifi troubleshooting?

I have yet to have someone visit my town due to my wifi connection, I assume. I can visit people and download DLC just fine but when someone tries to visit, I get stuck at the saving screen and then a code-less ressetti screen pops up. every. single. time.

I'm gonna be tinkering with some stuff today and I'll need someone to help me test it and visit my town. I can give you some bells if it's necessary. Looking to do this ASAP

Yeah xD It was stuck on "Waiting for Train" for 5 minutes, then I got Resetti.

Same thing happened. Waited for 5 minutes, then got Resetti, an error has occurred.

this is crazy. so many people have been having this problem since launch and nintendo's only solution is to buy an entire new modem and router? wish i would have known about this problem before i bought the blessed thing >.>

this is what happens to me. this exact thing. when im frozen at the save screen it cuts off all of my internet connection entirely

One of my friends has this same issue. They get a better connection at McDonalds then at home.

The 3DS isnt the problem. A lot of the time it is the router/Modem or even your internet provider or firewall

i mean i realize the 3ds isnt the problem. every other aspect of my system connecting to the internet is fine, even on other games. my ps3, xbox, and iphone never have any troubles... i cant help but think the problem is on their end considering having someone visit my village on an animal crossing game is virtually my only internet problem i've had in a very long time
