Help on where to place my house?

i just restarted my town, and i found this map:

i quite like it but i'm unsure on where to put my house. any suggestions? i was thinking of putting it where my character is standing or on the other side of the river maybe??

and i would like to know if i should just discard this town and keep restarting, or if this town is good enough. town fruit is cherry, square grass pattern, villagers are gigi, peewee, frobert, mitzi & cube, and there's a brown train station. thanks!!

i'd restart if i were you! however if you want to keep the town i like your idea of putting the house on the other side of your character

Left of the waterfall. Maybe put a little more room in front of your house so you can decorate your front lawn. Maybe in the middle of the first concavity/indentation in the river from the waterfall that looks like this ]

Well, it really only matters if YOU like it I think that spot is good unless you plan on building a bridge there!

If you really like it, keep it. c: I just don't like the idea of a pond right in front of your train station and the town hall is too central... but I like where retail is.

I would put it on the other side of the river for sure! It's a nice town map though.

If you like that map, keep it. But i'd go with another.

I would put your house in between retail & the mayor's office for convenience and symmetry and so nobody else can build their house there. Sorry if this is too late but I had to say it!^^
