Holiday Candy Cane 2016
I started Animal Crossing nearly blind - at least in terms of theming, plot reseting, etc. So I named my town, for no particular reason, Starfall. I'm wondering whether or not I should theme, either to the name or something else.
I definitely want to keep Poppy, though, hopefully Fang, Blanche, and Flo too. I also want to try and get Marshal.
If you have suggestions, please let me know. Thank you for your help!

Starfall's a nice name. :)

You can keep your villagers regardless of what theme you choose. If you want the theme to fit the name, you could make the town star themed, or update your town at night and have the lighted pwp's projects. I can't really think of any themes that fit your town name at the moment. The ones I mentioned may be a bit boring.

My towns are themed after things that I like or interest me. For example, I love Disney, Christmas, Halloween, farming, and certain retro cartoons. What are your interests? Is there a certain movie or show you really like? How about colors? When I think of a town named Starfall, I picture lots of blue hybrids. Maybe white flowers too.

Remember, you don't have to theme a town! You can just conjoin a bunch of things you like. No one's gonna dock down the quality of your town if there's not a theme present. :)
Don't get me wrong, themed towns are fun, but not s necessity.
When I think of Starfall, I think of blue, white, and yellow colors. You could try to base your town around that if you so desire. :)

What chillykio said ^^ : ) I haven't got a theme to mine. I stated working on it but it's too much to change in my town now. Besides which, it all works well with each other. I've split my town so that one half is more zen/Japanese and the other is more fairytale/colourful. Just helped me get organised a bit better and meant I could use a mix of pwps.
Starfall is a nice name :) if you really wanted to you could do a night/spacey themed town? Maybe you could have Julian/Ruby/Filbert, etc. Plus the illuminated pwps, satellite dish...
Or you could go a different theme entirely, there's a thread on this section somewhere that lists people's town ideas. But honestly it's not always necessary, I prefer my town without a theme to it :)

this playlist has some good dream diaries you should check out

Starfall is a pretty name. If it were me, I'd probably set my town during a meteor shower. I think that would be really pretty. Maybe some blue and white flowers. I think white villagers look really good at night time too, so Marshal, Fang and Blanche would work for sure.

Starfall seems purple/blue/white to me. My town is a water based theme so I have blue/white flowers with cedar trees and saplings. Not all towns have to have extravagant themes to work, but having a basis of colours does wonders for landscaping.

As for villagers; julian, marshal, static, del and fang all seem like they would work well with your theme

Thank you all for the suggestions!

Wow, that would be a cool idea! Currently I've been setting my dream town's sky to when the stars are just coming out, when the sky is still a rosy pink color. But next time a meteor shower begins, I'll set it! ^u^

I know, but my perfectionist self wants it to be somewhat together ^^"

I've decided with dark red/pink, white, and blue animals. Do you have suggestions?

Again, thank you everyone!
