Help me pick a villager

So I've decided to let Hamphrey go since I've had him for a while now. Now that he's leaving, I have an extra spot for a new villager, but I don't know who to get. I would mainly like a male villager since I already have seven female villagers. If you have another option, feel free to comment. It would be amazing. Thank you ~

I have Marshal now and had Bob in the original game. I voted for Bob because he's strange in a good way.

With Hamphrey leaving you're outta the cranky personality. So maybe Wolfgang/Fang/Chief/Lobo or Butch could fit. If you don't want another cranky, I would say Marshal since you don't have a smug.

I'm not sure. I like all personality types, but lazy is my favourite along with smug. If you have another villager in mind, you can suggest them. I'm open to every suggestion

If you're a big fan of lazy villagers, I recommend Punchy! I have him in my village, and he's the cutest.

lolly? marshal is one of my favorites but he's too common. 90% of users here have marshal in their town.

I haven't noticed that, and I always look at people's signatures when they list their villagers.

Your town is filled with lots of cute/small females. So you either want a grumpy male for some variety, or a male that fits in.

Bob is your choice if you want someone who fits in, However you already have lazy villagers. Marshal is also cute, and would give the town more variety personality wise than Bob because you don't have any smugs.
He is everywhere, and if you like his sloppy series house, Kidd (smug purple goat, super cute--look him up) has a similar house, and he wears a waistcoat when you first get him.
He also is not in a lot of towns- yet just as cute, if not cuter than Marshal (I think he's much cuter, but he's not as well known as Marshal so most people wouldn't agree). I also like the way he plays the town tune, his voice is sweet & mellow. He is also a cute purple colour like Bob.

Bam is a gorgeous sporty deer, and in some ways would "match" with Beau being a deer as well. I would still suggest a smug or cranky for your town though.

Roscoe, Kabuki, Grizzly & Lobo are some excellent cranky choices, you also don't have any crankies. If you are going for the more popular choice & lighter colour fur, Fang is well liked & has white/silver fur. However I still think the others suggested would balance out all the white/pink ladies of the town.

Kabuki is white & somehow fits into your town. For some reason I also think you'd like Roscoe, and I don't know why. My personal favourite is Lobo, and his appearance & house are quite nice.(as well as having one of the best personalities, like Grizzly who is a really sweet bear.)
