Help me grow hybrids!

So I officially suck and growing hybrids if I get some it's by accident and not from the combinations I set up, I've looked up the colour combinations etc, I water them everyday, I've even started using fertiliser but it does seem to help

Advice/guidance/ instructions needed!!!!!!!!

A couple of tips from me though, this is a varied opinion but I find that not having the beautiful town ordinance helped me make hybrids as long as you remeber to water them all. Water them with a gold can for best results and when using fertiliser, its said that if you bury it with a gold or silver shovel, it hs more effect. Remeber, I'm pretty sure the maximum of hybrids that can be made in a day is 5 so when you set up you hybrids beds (diagonally) you dont need to use thousands of flowers.

I'm currently breeding carnations at the moment (white and pink) I have 6 of each arranged diagonally like this:

I use a gold watering can, have no ordinance in effect and stopped using fertilizer since it took me too long. I make 5 a day.
I do time travel day by day to speed the process up on my cycle town

Cool thank you I'll have a look I got one purple pansie by fluke and then never again! A different then other the orange a different pink I've failed miserably! I'll let you know how it goes

If you're trying to get purple pansies, the chances of getting them are much higher if you use purple pansies, you could buy a couple on here and that should help a lot

I'm just trying for anything really, i accidently time traveled a whole month and all my flower died =( not that i had many hybrids anyway but i want the satisfaction of knowing i grew all my flowers, thanks for the idea though

yeh, if you have them set up in a diamond shape, bury it in between them

If you have the beautiful town ordinance, your flowers won't die.

Also, which hybrids are you trying to breed? I've noticed that a lot of guides don't explain genetics so it can end up leading to people breeding the wrong flowers by mistake.
