Have you checked your counters or your cupboards? Maybe it might be in the pantry. You could try asking a relative or a friend if they have seen it in their house.

The problem is what size is the book? Is it a thick tome, a skinny manga.. Also do you recycle paper? It may have been recycled by mistake.

Books are always hidden under clothes and stuff or inside bags. Don't forget to look under other books.
