Help me choose a villager: duplicate personality type I like, or unique personality type I don’t like?

I’m in a pickle ;w;
I want Marshal, because I think he’d be cute with Raymond (who I have), but I have several problems:

• I already have 10 villagers
• I could kick out a duplicate; I have two lazies and two peppies, but I’m attached to all of them
• I’m not sure if I’d like him being a Raymond-duplicate in terms of dialogue

The only villager I’m not a fan of in my town is Reneigh, but she’s my only sisterly villager, and I would really like a variety of personality types... but at the same time, I never talk to her all that much.

What would you do in this situation? Only based on the villager-personality aspect of the situation, would you pick Marshal or Reneigh? Or alternatively, a third option?

I keep Agnes which is a sisterly islander until I've unlocked everything linked to that personality, after what I will probably go for a villager I like more. Maybe you could do the same with Reneigh ? Or if you don't really care about the personality exclusive stuff, just go for it and let her go now for Marshal to come to your island if you really want him.

I personally don't mind duplicate dialogue, especially because two villagers of the same personality type can feel vastly different in New Horizons. I personally don't like sisterly villagers so I don't care to have one because I prefer designs and dialogue of other personality types. You could always wait and get Marshal once Reneigh decides to move on her own or something. Smug villager dialogue doesn't really get tiring in my opinion. I personally would pick Marshal and ditch Reneigh. But if you like the diversity of having all the personality types, keep her. I also think it's important to remember that your villagers are never set in stone (even though this is something I still struggle with alot), if you decide to keep Reneigh around for a while until you tire of her, you can always get Marshal later.

i don’t really like smug villagers so uh my personal opinion might be biased but since it seems certain diys and reactions are personality-locked, i would maybe try to get all the uchi reactions and diys from reneigh and then since you’re not all that fond of her, you can get rid of her to get marshal or whoever else that you’d like more
