Help making Zucker wear a flan tank?

I've been at it for weeks talking to Zucker with two flan tanks abd a bunch of flowers yet he refuses to acknowledge them. It's driving me crazy I've completely finished my town I just need him to wear the shirt but he just won't. I could always gift them both to him but in afraid of him not wearing either and then ending up in his closest void or something :/ any tips to make him want to buy the shirts in my inventory or sure fire ways to make him wear a shirt?

You can try mailing it to him, wait until the next day, make a new character, and check to see if he's wearing it. If he isn't, just keep resetting until he is. That's how I used to get a couple of my villagers to wear shirts.

I've recently tried doing this with villagers. It took some about three tries to get them to wear the shirt. Mailing them is usually the best bet for me. If you're not afraid of messing up his house a bit, try mailing him over and over.

Maybe continue the method you've been doing, then. I know it's grueling and time-consuming, but getting villagers to request trades is completely random. Unfortunately.

Wait a second :O you can make four characters!? I dunno why but I thought the cap was three lol I guess I can make another character and wait for him to wear the shirt this is great!!
