Help! Kapp'n won't stop singing.

I thought it might be nice to hear some ole salty sea dog songs, but I am growing tired of his songs, any idea on how to get him to stop?

I heard you can tap on the bottom screen to skip the song? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Pretty sure if you tap the bottom screen enough, he'll gripe about you not wanting to hear it and then just skip straight to the island.

Pay off your tent, and then your first house payment. Tortimer comes the next day(?) and tells you that you unlocked the island c:

Tap the touch screen several times or hit the b button.

There's also a volume slider on the 3ds c: but that won't do much good.
