So, this is going on right now. I found the perfect map with some nice villagers:
Beau
Biff
Bertha
Stitches
Julian
Sprinkle
Chow
Marshal *moving out*
Rocket

I like my townfruit, apples. But I'm thinking of resetting again! I just got this town 3 days. I don't know why I want to do it. I don't know what to do. I really want a permanent town, but I just can't find it. Should I reset again or just go on? I really want a 'normal' town, without tting and taking the first map that I found. But I'm addicted to tting. I just need to do it, but I really wanna play normal. Just like my first town. All my villagers were tier 5/4 except Sprinkle. But I didn't tt and I loved them. I know that you can void them and get your dreamies. But I just want to keep all my villagers and if they pings me then I'll let them go. I don't have any dreamies atm. Thanks for reading this.

If you can afford it, get a second catridge, that way you can tt on that one!

If you like your current map and town then you should keep it - you might not be able to get a better one if you reset. I understand it can be hard, but if you want to stop TTing then try to force yourself not to do it anymore. Maybe do something like everytime you TT you'll throw away 99K to keep your motivation. However, if you really enjoy TTing then there's nothing wrong with that either.

But, I can't stop right now. I have a cycling thread and there are some people lurking for my villagers.. I have enough money to buy a second cartridge but I wanna buy another game for it.

I agree with some of the other's posts. Have one town for TT and one for non TT. That's basically what I do (Sometimes on rare occasions i'll TT out a villager so I can transfer one from my TT town) That way you have the day to day experience of not TT but when you've done everything for the day you have your other town that you can TT in to fall back on

If you like your town, then keep it and play the normal way. If you're giving away your current villagers, then TT and cycle, then stop once that's done. If not, then just close your cycling thread. There's nothing wrong with deciding to stop cycling because you like your current town or are getting tired of doing it so much. Just make yourself stop and enjoy the game, and set other goals for yourself like completing your museum, breeding hybrids, etc.

I only tt 1/2 days forward. But, I sold Marshal for lots of hybrids and it's looking great now! I don't think that I'm going to reset. I need to cycle the bad villagers out. (Chow, Rocket, Julian, maybe Sprinkle) And if I get goid villagers in return then I'm going to play normal, set a goal like completing museum, perfect town, and enjoying the island with some friends. I'll tt back to the right date, and just playing normal. If I'm bored, I'm going to tt one day forward, but only once a day. It's hard, but it worked in my first town and in my second town too.

And maybe a goal like: All squirrel town. Bc I love them.
