I'd say to put your house either at the top right above the waterfall or the bottom left by the cliff edge/waterfall

Personally, I like having my house by the beach/at the edge of the cliff. So I'd probably put mine all the way at the bottom, below the villager that is bridge. (Hard to explain...) You'd have a waterfall, a bridge to the next section of your village, and easy access to the docks!
