My friend just got tricked by a hacker and now her train station is surrounded by trees. She cant remove them because of the stone beneath them so she cannot open her gate or go to other towns. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Hmm, like lava said, if she can chop them down. If, iwhen you say surrounded, you mean that there's a fence of trees around the trainyard, chopping a hole in them seems to work fine or if they're are a solid mass right up to the gate, I'm mnot sure what to say, maybe a new character might be able to do something.
if she can get to the train station to open the gates, you might be able find a nice hacker on reddit or somewhere to remove them. other than that, I have no idea.
There's a user floatingzoo. I saw them talking about someone on Youtube who's a hacker and could help people removing their rocks.

So far I read it, they need to come to your town, but may be you could ask for their help, there may be some way, who knows.

Thanks for the replies! Sadly, the trees were placed so close together, that you couldn't get off of the stump in the direction of the other trees. This made it impossible to chop down all of them. Also, she quit and came back in, so she wasn't able to open her gate. I offered to help her if she started a new town, and that's what she ended up doing. It turns out that when you reset your town, Tom Nook offers to buy it and you can start a new town with as many bells as Nook says it's worth. I didn't know this was a feature until then, but it's definitely going to help with the rebuilding of the town. Thanks for the helpful responses though!
Wild World all over again. Back in the day hacker would drop a building in front of your house so you couldn't get out. They could go so far as to drop a 9th neighbor and break your entire game. Anyways... sorry your friend had yo go through that. People who do that need a life.
