So I've decided Im going to pack up and spend my summer in Europe, possibly Morocco too but that depends what I feel like whilst im in Europe.

Anyway, can anyone suggest some culturally interesting things to do around Europe, particularly around the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Poland as that's where I'll be going. Possibly also Bulgaria and Morocco but I'll think about that later in the year.

I know I want to obviously go to some art galleries, and this might sound quite morbid but I'm interested to go to the ex-concentration camps a I'm interested in the history.

So yeah just please suggest some fun things that I can spend my summer doing!! c:

Wow I'm so jealous.
I was born in Italy and would LOVE to go back.
The art and FOOD is amazing over there.
Make sure you take tons of pictures. c:

Google is your friend.

Wow thanks it's not like I thought of that myself, I just thought considering forums are for discussing things it might be nice to discuss things with people but no I guess not xD

Yeah I really want to add Italy to the list as well actually. I'm in love with Italian food and would love to try real authentic Italian. I will do! You should go back sometime. I know a couple of people who were born in Italy c:

Museums. Museums are fun.

True dat. I might try and visit the Anne Frank museum which is supposed to be quite interesting.

What are you interested about, for art/museum ?

I went in Amsterdam last november for university (museology study class). So far I can recommand you the Van Gogh Museum & Rembrandt House Museum (obvious propositions).

The Stedelijk Museum is kind of...interesting ? Kind of a contrast, as the building has an amazing size, but if you don't appreciate staring contemporary artefacts, then your visit will be very fast (well, "fast" is relative...we've been in here for 2 hours and I find it short). Still, there is a cool art related bookstore (philosophy range included too).

I really liked the Rijksmuseum, though it's often crowded (dedicated to national art history). So many classics, good scenography when you count the monument's size, though you can be easily lost.

The Museum Geelvinck-Hinlopen, which I didn't get the chance to see that time, but that I recommand ; it worth the visit if you like sort of old house tour.

The Tropenmuseum was a really good surprise, don't be deceived by the tiny school-like hall and the temporary exposition/first floor. It's an anthropological museum, and it's enjoyable, immersive.

For the last that comes in my mind : Scheepvaartmuseum. Another kind of museum, dedicated to maritime stuff. We ended the trip with this one and it was definitely for the best. Really entertaining while not that kiddy (still, there is a department especially for kids if I remember well, but I didn't go there). You really don't have to be interested in those things to appreciate this museum. There is also an art related part (painting mostly), globes gallery...and the possibility to check a ship's reproduction.

In a nutshell for Belgium ; Bruges (just walking through is a pleasure),
Antwerp (Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp | MuHKA | Momu),
Brussels (Mus?e Ren? Magritte | Mus?e de l'?rotisme et de la mythologie | Mus?e Wiertz | Musical Instrument Museum | mus?e du cin?ma de Bruxelles) for interesting destinations obviously.

Didn't see France in your destination, so that's all I'm thinking about for now~

Thank you so much! Im going to take a look through when I'm not on my phone. A lot of those I haven't heard of before and that's what I was after c:

You're coming to Europe? I wish I could go to America. xD

Anyway, I went to Paris once but don't remember it much. You could go see the Eiffel tower (not the trifle tower like I used to call it)... I can't think of much else since I haven't really traveled much.

Well I am English! Haha, so I wish I could go to America too lol. The only reason I'm going to Europe is because it's so easy, which is why I am staying there for such a long time. (I know I already live in "Europe" but idk that's just what I say).

Also thats why im going to africa as well so i wont just be in Europe I guess
