Help, Can't Play New Update :(

Don't be sorry at all! Thank you for your help! I've never hacked my game but I did own a large "shop" on here, therefore had a lot of guests coming through constantly that could've left an infinity gift wrapped gift, but I don't ever remember coming across one. I think the later portion of your response might be what's wrong. I actually went in today and bought another copy of the game so even though my old town (that I've had since the games' release) won't be able to transfer to the update, I can still enjoy the update. Thank you to everyone for the help!

glad it worked out for you! (kinda?) I'd be weirded out if my games started doing that....I thought the digital versions only got issues like that but it sounds like you were a bit unlucky

I have heard the same with digital version and was surprised that the new update started causing issues with the hard copy too. I have seven cartridges, two are my son's that he doesn't really play anymore and the other 5 are mine. Both one of son's and 1 of mine that are the oldest from June of 13 in the US have had some issues off and on but the newer ones that were bought from 2015 on up to a month before the update have had no issues. Have been tempted but never bought a digital copy because of all the issues it has had.

While sad to hear you can't play your old game with the update, happy to hear you have a new game that you can. Before the update came out I was very skeptical about even liking it and thought I wouldn't even bother but now I really really like it. It breathes new excitement into it.
