Hiiiiii~ Can someone help with a test visit please?

I am having so much trouble when people visit or when I visit. People are unable to visit and I cannot visit. It only started happening about a month ago and it's very frustrating. So I formatted my DS memory, will someone please come over just for a little bit? Just to see if you can? I would really really appreciate it! Thank you!!!!

Problem is probably not in your 3DS but on your internet. Did you make any change? New router/modem? New company? Have you tried while no other device is using the internet?

I have tried putting my DS in DMZ and everything :c My only guess is maybe I have to wait it out? I have satellite internet so even though it is super fast on everything else maybe it is not strong enough lately for DS playing? Which is odd because I can visit the island and everything D:<

Your island or club tortimer? Your island isn't internet based, only club tortimer.

Have you tried without any other device using the network? I have had problems twice (in hundreds of trades) and I noticed an specific program on my computer was causing the troubles, probably too many requests to the router or something like that, as soon as I closed that program I was able to travel again with no problems, so maybe someone is using your network in that way? Have you tried with another connection?

Ah! I didn't even think of that... maybe my mother was using the internet.. I will try while making sure nothing else at all is using the internet. Hmm, what do you mean with another connection?

Probably the island works different :S (I'm thinking visiting a town works 3DS-3DS while the island might be 3DS-NintendoServer-3DS) By another connection I mean another internet, in a friend's house or something like that (better if they have another internet provider, not the same as you do), for you to be sure that it's not your device the one with the problem, although I'm sure it's not your device, it's your internet that's blocking the connection, either your router/modem or your ISP (internet provider) directly. You should try what I told you just to be sure that is not another program/device that is causing the problems, if it still doesn't work then your best shot is to call your ISP and explain them the problem, they will probably not care since the internet is working for pretty much everything else but maybe you'll get someone nice on the phone If you do this be sure to explain the problem as detailed as possible, don't just tell them "my internet is not working for a game", tell them how it works, that you connect with another person and they are able to come play with you in your game and that only that situation (and viceversa) causes problems.

Ps. Be sure that nothing at all is using the internet, sometimes we only think of stuff that use it in an "active" way and forget about the "passive" devices, like for example, a cellphone that is not being used at the time but is still connected to the Wi-Fi.
