HELP-10th villager moved in on their own!

So I started my game today and as I was walking around saw a plot for a new villager to move in?! I already have 9 villagers and definitely did NOT invite another to move in. I thought I was going to start the process of moving a villager out today! How did this happen ? To make things worse this new villager...."Maelle"....has chosen a terrible house location (right behind my cafe? really?)!!! Oh no....shes ugly too

Have you streetpassed anyone, had someone visit your town, or visited someone else's town recently? Unfortunately, you can pick up villagers that move out of towns you interact with even if you don't invite them.

Just like in real life we sometimes have to put up with unwanted neighbours. Who knows, in time you might grow to love that 1920s haircut and Absinthe-green eye shadow.

I thought that whole villager from the void didn't apply to the 10th villager? And you had to specifically invite them to move in? Especially if you are in a 'moving out' period?

Also I won't grow to love little miss bowl cut bangs. Especially since her house is right between my train station and my cafe....and directly on top of what was a very nicely pathed out garden...rip pink hybrid flowers....you will be avenged(I thought the space was too small for a villager plot).

Sadly, you can get villagers from the void even for the 10th villager. My husband and I pass villagers back and forth that way all the time. It stinks when you're not prepared for them, though. I hope you can get her to move out soon and get your pink hybrids back.
