I decided I'd finally try this playing online thing again after years of avoiding it. Way back in Wild World someone hacked my beloved village when I invited them over and i never invited anyone again. Now that I'm in New Leaf, it looks like I have no choice if I want to unlock my train station upgrades. So, there's nothing for it but to get to know some of you and try having visitors again.

Anyway, I've been playing by myself since the original days on the Game Cube. I'm probably a little older than many of you, being that I'm a grandma x11, but I hope you don't mind that too much. I hope you're a nicer bunch than my last experience.

Hello and welcome to TBT. That's unfortunate your Wild World town ended up being hacked. I remember hearing it was pretty bad back then. On the bright side, New Leaf seems to be a lot safer when it comes to this and most people here are very respectful.

Boy, that's good to know! I've been worried about even visiting the island in NL since I don't want to do that whole horror again!

Welcome to the forums! I'm new too. Man that's awful that happened to you in wild world I remember the first times I visited the Club Tortimer that was a weird experience (I avoid it really)
Hopefully your experiences on NL are much better! And that you're able to unlock the stations soon!

Yikes, I don't think there's too much seeding going on any more, I never heard of any attacks like that made on New Leaf towns anyway. You'll find there are plenty of trustworthy people around here if you take a look at their WiFi ratings! Welcome!
