Hello! New here

My name is Zoe, I played Animal Crossing: New Leaf all the time back when it first came out and it was such a memorable, formative part of my young teens. I decided to pick it up again and start a new village since Elden Ring has been making me angry and I wanted something more relaxing, lol.

I also haven't been on internet forums in a while so I figured signing up here could be fun too!

it’s super awesome that you’ve gotten back into new leaf! i haven’t played it in years myself, but it’s an amazing game and was a huge part of my late childhood/early teen years as well! i’ve even been considering picking a copy of it up again haha.

who are your favourite villagers? what villagers do you currently have in your town? is your town going to have any particular theme/s, or are you just going to go with the flow and decorate however you want?

My first main series game was New Horizons, so I haven't played New Leaf, but I've heard so many good things about it! I'm definitely going to have to work backwards and try it one day. Do you have a favourite villager?

Hiya Zoe, welcome to TBT! ^^ I actually just got NL a little over a couple years ago myself, and only recently finished up my town! I really enjoyed playing, and I loved how pretty and atmospheric some of the background music could be. What's your favorite thing to do in New Leaf?

Hi there, and welcome to the community. My close friend plays Elden Ring but I don’t know anything about it, lol. My phone is my only access to the internet, so it probably wouldn’t work for that anyway. I hope to see you around the forum.

Ruby is for sure my favorite! I had her in my original village and immediately fell in love with the design, hoping to get her by chance again. Currently I have Flip, Hugh, Bruce, Queenie, Dora, Hippeux, Tangy, Frita, and Sly (so I'd need one to move out for a chance I think). I'm kind of planning on a nature theme, with some space here and there!

Ruby is my favorite! I want to play New Horizons eventually, but I might also move backwards especially since I have the original Gamecube game (I think one of my brothers must have owned)

I think the social aspect is my favorite part, it's really nice to check in every day and see how everyone's doing ^^

Elden Ring is very different of course, it's full of difficult enemies and complex combat so you can never really rest. I got the idea to make this new village when I got so mad at a boss I had to just turn the game music off and put on Animal Crossing music lmao

ooh, you’ve got great taste in villagers! ruby is one of my favourites as well; i didn’t really care for her much when i was younger, but she’s grown on me a lot over the past couple years. i’m hoping to have her on my new horizons island eventually! i hope you’re able to get her eventually as well, and your current villager lineup is awesome! you have quite a few of my favourites haha. your town theme also sounds great, and i wish you the best of luck with it!
