That's pretty neat, I look forward to getting new furniture and villagers and stuff, maybe it will make me do something with my second town finally.
The Sanrio animals seem to remind me of Game Cube villagers and not so much New Leaf villagers. Even that cute teacup elephant reminds me of the GameCube elephants. Which makes it kind of endearing in a way.

I believe they're referring to Purin, which I think (?) is a Sanrio character?
No the pink villager with the fluffy ears with the possibly cinnamaroll furniture.

This looks so cute! I really like the look of the Pom Pom Purin and Cinnamoroll villagers. I will have to try and find those cards when they are released then.
This update with Hello Kitty is weird to me.The villagers with the theme of Hello Kitty do not look good,but the sheep looks cute and the only one that appeals to me.Beside that I don't think I would get the villagers and the furnIture.
It looks like they were trying really hard to make sure that the Animal Crossing villagers don't look like Sanrio characters. So it forced them to make some of the animals look not quite as cute as Sanrio characters.
The sheep is super cute tho!

None of them are dogs, I'm not totally sure which one you meant so I'll just list what they are:
The Hello Kitty themed one is a gorilla, the Pompompurin themed one is a bear cub, the Little Twin Stars themed one is a sheep, the Cinnamoroll one is an elephant, the My Melody one is a deer, and the Keroppi one is a bunny, to the best of my knowledge.

Wah! This sounds amazing! I absolutely LOVE Hello Kitty! The other Sanrio characters are okay too. Guess I'd better start saving money for the new Amiibo cards ASAP.

I only really like the Sheep character design out of all the villagers they showed in the video, however some of the furniture shown is really cute!
I am both agitated and pleased. I'm excited the update, but I'm mad because I plan on owning those sanrio cards and I keep thinking"What if they're Japan exclusive?" What if they become too popular and I can't get any?" "What if I have to buy off a scalper?" Hopefully since Nintendo has gotten it's Amiigame together, this won't be a problem
