Hello~ happens after re-create town?

Hi everyone!

I returned here because I have some unfinished business with Animal Crossing New Leaf, obviously!
Also because I want to make use of the new update, because it's just way too cute.

So; Has anyone re-created their town yet? What do you keep (catalog info, achievements, museum) or do you just lose everything?

I haven't reset myself but based on observations I'm pretty sure you just lose everything, except now post-update I think you can like.... "sell" your old town so you start off with a ton of bells?

Although that's from observation, not from resetting personally.

Yes, I've also seen that you can keep your catalogue or sell it. But everything else will be gone. I don't know if I can go through the hassle of unlocking all the PWPs, catching all the fish/bugs again. ;-;
