Heart Gold and Soul Silver

I have my two Japanese copies from my visit to Japan but I'm going to get a English copy of Heart Gold and maybe soon when I have the cash I'll buy Soul Silver. Hopefully they will make a copy of Crystal soon though.

So you have a Japanese DS, or can you play Japo games on any DS. Because my DS is from Australia, and i'm wondering for when I go to Japan in October if I can buy any DS games and play them on my DS, even though it isn't Japanese.

DS games aren't region locked, so you can play them on any DS, regardless of region. The only exception is DSi-enhanced and DSi-only games.

Wii has a region lock, if I believe so. You can break the region lock if you use homebrew though.

You can get both legendaries in HeartGold though.
