What do you feel about hearing your own voice in recordings, like videos?

I hate hearing my own voice in recordings haha ;w; unfortunately that may (not 100% sure) happen tomorrow because i'm in a video which may be shown to my class, i'm honestly dreading it. To me, my voice sounds too quiet and awkward, because I get nervous my voice also shakes and I can hear it and it's like //major cringe

I hate it too, mostly because it sounds like someone else and way too bright.. ugh. So wish I had a darker voice man.

I hate hearing my voice! Anytime I watch a video with my voice i cringe throughout the whole thing. Good luck tomorrow, that sucks!

thank you for the good luck haha ;w; i think i'll need it because I may die of embarrassment.

I hate it! I don't think I'd recognize my own voice if I heard it without knowing it was me! :P

I don't like hearing my voice. I never realized how high pitch my voice is until I heard a recording.

UGH I HATE IT SO MUCH

it sounds so bad in videos but it sounds just fine irl

idk why but other people sound so good

@Minerva and P e o n y, same here x.x' to me my voice sounds like it's in a completely different pitch than to what I think I sound like, and on top of that sometimes I sound really ... best word for it is posh? ;u;

This.. I hardly sound as high pitched and bright irl(unless i'm like acting it out for teh lulz which is rarely)..so it's like omg turn it off

I sound like a complete boy when I record my voice, but when I listen to it irl, it sounds fine..

Like others said. I don't like it either, makes me sound like an actual teenage boy on TV shows, and I am 17 after all.

Remember: your voice never sounds as bad to other people as it does to you!

I used to hate hearing my own voice, but I worked in a call centre for a year and a half and had to listen to my own calls all the time, so the cringe wore off after a while.

Actually, I don't mind it XD

After becoming a Youtuber (that isn';t famous rip), I have started to get used to it.

To hear your real voice, as recordings AREN'T accurate, hold folders in front of your ears to hear your voice :)

i hate my voice when recorded. i like the way i sound in my head, because it's a lot deeper. but we all know we sound a little deeper voiced to ourselves because of the sound waves bouncing through tissues and bones instead of through the air.

I'm not used to it because it just sounds so different...
I think my voice is really deep from my memories, but idk havent heard myself in a while

Edit;
I just had some fun recording myself reading some weird stuff...

And i really love my voice. XD
It's not too high nor too low. And fairly girly sounding actually.

Oh well, cant change my vote lol.
