Heard a villager was moving but they haven't pinged me?

So I have been tt more than I should, and after catching up with my villagers I heard my dreamie was moving out. I have talked to him until he ignores me 3 times and he hasn't mentioned it. What can I do? I'm scared to tt and let the day change at all because I really don't want him to move.

Do I wait until he's outside or just keep talking?

Try logging onto another alt character if you have one or turn off your ds and try later. Usually does the trick for me.

You just have to reload the game. You don't need a second character or waiting.
