Hawkin warns us 'We should not make contact with Aliens'

Basically Stephen Hawkin is scared of aliens, like most people are, but there might be reasonably nice aliens (like the Doctor for example.)

In one Doctor who book (Winner take all) the aliens (called Quevils) used the Human race to defeat their enemies (the Mantasphids, or something like that) through a video game, as they saw us as a race who loves war
