Having trouble unlocking the Dream Suite...

Basically, I know to unlock it you have to talk to sleeping Isabelle the day after your first WiFi and that worked on my first town which I reset, but this time round I forgot to log on the day after my first WiFi and more than a week later Isabelle has still been awake every time I go into the town hall. Have I really missed my chance to unlock it? What can I do?

Make sure you're mayor of your town for at least 7 days.
You need to have completed at least 1 public work project.
And you have connected to the internet at least once.
