Having a bit of an issue.

So I just started my daily chores in game. I brought a villager into my house, spoke to another one in their house. Then I went into Tex's house. He said I hadn't spoke to him for a while, so then I tried talking to him once again... Now the text bubble is empty. We are just standing in his house. The game didn't freeze because we are swaying, but he won't say anything. Any way to fix this without resetting? >_<

Some people in this thread have experienced the same thing. It seems to be a nasty glitch, and unfortunately I'm not sure if there's any way to fix this other than turning off your 3DS.
