Haven't played in a long time, lots of questions...

I haven't played this game since the gardening first started, so there are SO many new things that I am completely clueless about. I have been trying to figure things out by playing around, and searching the forums but I am not having much luck.

First question is about hosting animals. It took me a while to remember why I wasn't inviting the animals I have not hosted yet...after inviting several I stopped because I remembered I was saving them for hosting events. Do they still do those, should I save them just in case, or invite them?

I have more questions but that is the only one I can think of for right now.

If you're talking about the events where you get rewarded for inviting new campers, then yes they still do those. I usually save a few invites.

I barely even remember Host the Most. I don't think there's any benefit to waiting, because I think if you've already invited the maximum, it just counts towards the goal. Anyway, they don't release new villagers like they used to. It has been exclusively via Gulliver for the past several waves. And there's no Host the Most for those animals.

What is the maximum? I have 13 I haven't invited that I am able to invite, and have hosted 33.

Didn't they just release a new batch of campers a few months ago? Also I only remember 3 campers being available through Gulliver but I could be wrong since I never talk to him lol

Edit: It appears I'm out of the loop on ol' Gulliver, there are 20 maps available from him. I found this list, but I know they are still releasing campers the normal way as well.

According to a wiki, there are currently 136 animals!

I have "met" many more, I have only hosted 33 at my campsite and have 13 more I can invite because I have been working on crafting all the furniture of all the animals so I can invite them...I have many many more I still have to craft all the furniture for but I am thinking maybe I will just craft what I actually like and forget trying to invite them all.
