Haven't had a PWP suggestion in months...

I literally cannot tell you how long it's been since one of my villagers suggested a new public works project. I've tried the diving trick literally HUNDREDS of times, but it NEVER works for me.

Maybe I've unlocked them all already? Just how many are in the freaking game again?

After looking the list over, I have ALMOST EVERY PWP UNLOCKED!! The only ones I need are the blue bench and the stadium light...

Seriously, I'm happy for you. To unlock all those? Goodness, there are ones on there I've never seen or heard of.

I honestly didn't know until I checked the list!

But yeah, I'm going to hound Mac for a while. Maybe I'll trap him somewhere, go diving, then come back to see if he'll ping me.

You go, dude (or dudette)! Let us know if you get those last two PWP's. I always get the blue bench soon and even the stadium light asked for, and it's odd that here you are with all the cool ones unlocked and I have had requests for the ones you want! Lol!

A good way to unlock villager-suggested PWPs is doing the swimming trick. Basically, you go out into the ocean and hang out in the water for at least five minutes. When you go back to your town, one of your villagers will ping you. The ping can be for any reason, so it's a good idea to have your inventory empty if you want to avoid being pinged for trades. Sometimes they'll ping you over nicknames and stuff like that but they'll often ping you to ask about PWPs.

I used to do the diving trick every day to get requests. But I figured out a way easy method: just talk to your villagers a lot. Do chores for them etc. For example, right when you begin playing on a day, talk to all your villagers 2 or three times in a row; do whatever chores they may ask of you. From my experience, doing this makes villagers ping you to request projects on their own, since it gets chore requests out of the way beforehand.

OR If you want specific requests from specific villagers, only talk to those villagers a lot when you start playing.

Using this method, I hardly ever have to do the diving trick anymore, and I get a PWP request once a day now. And when it doesn't work, I will only have to do the diving trick like once or twice to get the PWP request.

I find that I get PWP suggestions even just from avoiding villagers; I think that's basically what the diving trick tries to accomplish, only it guarantees you're not going to encounter everyone.

Just go landscape an isolated bit of town or do some fishing if nobody is down on the beach and go back and you should get a ping for something. Can't go inside buildings or up to main street I think, though.

That station took FOREVER for someone to request it. -____- Still haven't built it though since I dunno where I wanna put it.

I haven't been keeping track of which PWPs I've gotten so whenever I get a new one these days, I'm like: "Wait, I didn't unlock them all yet?" XD I think I've unlocked all the ones that I wanted to unlock though, so it's a surprise when I get a new one.

And yeah, your friendship has to be high enough for them to request anything. If you haven't been talking to them... go and do so.
