Have you restarted, or do you still have your original town?

I accidentally deleted my first town while playing with the setting lol... haven't reset since.

I restarted twice. I loved my first town but was too lazy to do relandscaping and some PWPs can't be removed so I decided to reset instead. I thought my second town was perfect but I built my mayor's house on the wrong spot. :/

I've never reset Cinnabar, I've had it since launch day I've worked so hard on it and it means so much to me, so I'll never reset it. I still have badges to earn and I'm always having new landscaping ideas, so I'm never bored there even after 20 months.

I also have a second 'One Year Challenge' town as a side-project, and if I don't have any strong for feelings on it when the challenge is over, I may reset it then.

I've resetted two main towns. The first one because I knew nothing about layouts or plot resetting tricks, so I deleted that one after a while. It was called MoonLand. Then I had a town called Paradise that I liked slightly more, but I chose it on my first attempt at map resetting so I was never fully happy with it. Now I have Starfall, and I am almost 100% happy with it. I wouldn't delete it for anything now, I'm keeping for as long as it lasts itself. If it gets corrupted I might just stop playing.

I haven't restarted NL, because I know that's how I ended up stopping all the previous AC games :/

I seem to follow a pattern, buy game---play for a long time---get bored---reset town---realise how much stuff I'd managed to get---stop playing.

So I bought a second game, which I currently use for cycling. But when I get bored of that, I am going to reset it and use that to make my "perfect" town... Bevelle is my legit play game and I will not be resetting it

I've only had acnl since Christmas, but I sometimes regret how fast I rushed into the game as I choose one of the first map layouts I received. I might reset one day in the future, but for now, my town layout is fine!

i've reset, my first new leaf town was a mess and i was a total newb and i had lost interest for a while. i didn't really like my character much either so i decided to reset a year later after i got it. i'm really glad i reset because i'm really enjoying my town now and it's looking a lot better. i also have peaches as my native fruit, i didn't really like the apples from my first town lol

personally I have been resetting for a good map since I first started playing the game. My first version was wild world and when I realized you could get any number of different combos of maps and saw what features were available I started resetting to pick a map I liked when I started having multiple towns (had a huge preference for an "island" or forked river with three total bridges), and I picked up GC after that (as a throwback) and reset for towns I liked in that too, and again in CF, frankly the 4 maps to choose from to begin with feature in NL is AMAZING. When I first started I only reset a couple times since I had more to choose from, but then after a day of playing realized I wasn't going to be happy with the map long term and restarted for a better one.
I don't have a lot of other guilty pleasures in life, animal crossing is my main personal time to unwind from work and raising a family and keeping house and husband happy, I refuse to settle or feel trapped by a game, so when I get to a point where its become a chore instead of a pleasure, I restart (and reset to get a map I actually like )

Nope, never reset my town, I LOVE my town right now and I plan on keeping it for as long as possible!

How do you do that lol I thought the only way to reset was pressing a ton of buttons at once unless you deleted it through the DS.

I've never restarted my first town, and I got it the day it came out, I haven't reset my second town either, but I did try to get a good map for my second, third and fourth town, but besides that, I haven't really reset my towns, I only reset my brothers town so I could make a cycle town (My fourth town)

Ever since I started playing AC in, like, 2005, I've always loved restarting my town. I restarted this past time because I hadn't been able to play due to classes and I wanted to just have a clean start.

I never planned on having new towns, but a family member my second town (which I created Sep 2013 and intended to be my final town) but a family member restarted it After that, I just never managed to settle. I really like the map I got this time around and got a few of my faves for starting neighbors so I'm hoping to keep this one!

as much as i despise my town map and town fruit and town name, i don't think i'd ever reset my main town tbh. i've had it since the game was released and it's way too precious. <3 i prob will reset my cycle town, and i'm thinking of getting a third town that i'll prob spend 4ever trying to make perfect aha
