I'm really happy about my tan, because my mayor can look more like me.

I thought about getting a tan, (Since it's difficult for me to tan irl) but it'd be impossible for me to keep it since I don't play daily anymore.

When I first got New Leaf, I had the darkest tan available because I'd played the game so much. I didn't like it, because it didn't look great with my character's outfit, and I didn't want to change it. In the end I had to just wait until the end of Summer came. Even carrying a parasol or umbrella around with me didn't work, because I always wanted to do fishing or bug catching on the island.

I'm not letting my character tan this year, now that I know about it.

Nope. I don't know if it helps or not but I always wear the cucumber packs when I'm going to be in the sun for a long time and so far, no tan.

I don't go to the island enough to get a tan. I don't think I've ever gotten a tan before in Animal Crossing.

No. Just like me in real life, my character doesn't tan. Of course, it's because of the hat, but either way, I prefer my character tanless.

When I first got the game, I went to the island everyday cause it was exciting.. I was so dark.
Now I don't go to the island everyday so I'm really white. Which I don't mind cause I'm super pale.

My animal crossing character also doesn't tan, no matter how many hours I spend on the island. It's weird really.

If you want to tan on the island, you have to get into the water to do so. Weird, but it works.

My character has a tan. I don't really like it because I'm naturally pale in real life and it doesn't go nicely with the outfit I like to wear. However, it's not that big enough of a deal for me to avoid it.
