Have you ever walked out during a movie?

I hated the LotR movies myself. I was glad I Netflixed them, not paid money for them at the theater. I forced myself to watch all 3 but now I wish I had those hours of my life back. Granted, I can't even force myself to read the original Tolkien books. I'm a huge book reader, especially sci-fi and fantasy. But Tolkien obsesses about little boring things. When I tried to read the original book, Frodo hadn't even left home yet by the time I stopped reading.

Hmm

I wouldn't say their boring, but that's left up to each individuals opinion. Regardless of wether you like his books and the movies or not, you have to agree that his writings are some some of the most detailed and intricate books ever written. But I'm getting way off-topic now so I shall stop. v-v'

I was bored as heck when I watched Grown Ups. I watched it because of these kids I knew, they were going crazy over the Adam Sandler movies. I walked out of the theater the moment Rob Schneider showed up on screen.

I can't stand a lot of these new Adam Sandler movies. There are some movies he was in that I can bear watching, such as Punch-Drunk Love, The Wedding Singer, and Happy Gilmore (which I find quite dumb, but watchable).

I did it before but I was really little and I started crying because I didn't understand the movie and my dad picked me up.

So no, not really? xD

I walked out of the Terrance & Phillip movie just a few minutes in... Nothing but farts jokes and bad language.

... Seriously though. I don't think I have ever walked out of a theater nor do I know anyone who has.

I rarely go to the cinema to watch films now, since they are so expensive so walking out on a film would be a waste of money... And since I go to the cinema I stick to films I assume I'll like, e.g. Marvel films or films with actors I like and then Netflix stuff I was curious about but didn't see...

I haven't walked out of any movies, generally I'll check review sites so I'll know what to expect.

However, Thor: The Dark World... ugh, I wanted to leave about half way through but had to endure it for my husband.

I wanted to leave during Prometheus after the disgusting pregnancy scene because it made me really nauseous but no, I never leave during a movie at the theater. I pay like 20 bucks to see them, I can't even go to the bathroom because if I miss any of it, it will bother me until it comes out on tv.

I've never done that before because I have excellent taste in movies...
Ha, I'm just kidding. ^^ Still, I've never done if before.
My friend is obsessed with Twilight and got me to read the books, but I stopped on the second one because I just...didn't like it. The bad thing is, my other friend is obsessed with The Hobbit and doesn't like Twilight either, while my friend that likes Twilight doesn't like The Hobbit...so they're constantly going on about which one is better. XD

I walked out before, but it was because of the person I was with had to be home for something.

I've only walked out of a movie once. It was the movie "Drag me to hell" my ex and I didn't know it was supposed to be a "comedy horror"

They're not even the same genre. I understand comparing Twilight to HG, but never compare Twilight to something like the Hobbit. >.<

I walked out of Twilight and Scary Movie 5. smh
