I realized that I actually have reset a town once. I don't really think about it or count it because I created it with the intent to restart it eventually. When I got my second cartridge, I still had a long way to go to get the weeding badge in my main town. I don't like time traveling in my official towns and when I created my real second town, I knew I'd be afraid of messing it up, so I created a throw-away town solely for the purpose of time traveling and generating weeds. I made sure I never played in that town like I normally would so as not to create an attachment. Once my mayor from my main town got her gold weeding badge, I reset the second cartridge to create my official second town.
I only did once and that was because I picked up the game after years and I wanted to start fresh.
I'd never erase my current town and all of it's progress. It would feel like such a waste of time and effort.
Nope, and I don't intend to, I never do. I've had my current town running since June 14th 2013. I've got so much on it that's so sentimental, I couldn't give it up.
It's funny, I have only one copy of New Leaf and I've been playing the same save file since I bought the game. I've never reset the game. I also didn't know that at the beginning you can choose from different maps, so I went with the first map that was shown to me and I've been pretty happy with it so far
I've reset around 3 or 4 times already. I only have one copy of ACNL, and sometimes I decide I want to change the entire theme, or that the map I selected was a poor choice. I never have gotten far so I didn't really mind resetting
Yeah. I sort of regret it because I never really became as attached to a town as that first one, but I just got so bored of my first town that I rarely played anyways. If I get back into actively playing New Leaf again, I'd like to get Eunice back, she was one of my faves.
Yes, several times. I?ve had this game since the 5th grade and I?ve made soooo many bad decisions since then. Now that I?m older I love how my town looks and I don?t think I could ever get rid of it though.
I have reset one town (my 2013 town). After resetting that town, I was gifted additional Animal Crossing:New Leaf cartridges. Now I have eight towns and still enjoy playing them.
Only like 3 times. One at the start after a few weeks because I put my house in a horrible place. The second was after months of trying to make my town layout work in vain. On my current town I decided I was tired of it and got a nice map with homebrew and made a map in paint in which I planned the location of every single permanent building. I dont really mind if it is considered 'cheating' because i'm finally 100% happy with my town. The only hack I made after that was move in Etoile because the Sanrio cards are impossible to get where i live.
I did reset my town, and regretted it, then decided to reset it again and now I can't really get back into the game. I miss my original town man
I won't be making that same mistake again with AC:NH.
