Have you ever missed a villager’s birthday?

I don't miss their birthdays. If one of my villagers is having their birthday (whenever the day), I am going to visit their house and celebrate their day.

I have, usually it just slipped my mind until the next day... it's a good thing I'm no stranger to time traveling, they won't even notice I missed it the first time.

I missed both Gladys' birthday and the winter fishing tournament when I took a break for a few weeks in January. It sucks but meh. At the moment I'm still not TTing. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

I always try and celebrate each villagers birthday, even if it’s just a really quick visit to their party to hand over a gift, but I have unfortunately ended up missing some. When I’ve been TTing to move out villagers sometimes it’s meant I’ve been on the wrong day when their birthdays happened, missed both Diana’s and Sherb’s birthdays in January as I was in the wrong month but I did TT backwards to celebrate them later. Also when I’ve been ahead in time and landed on birthdays I’ve often not celebrated them as if I’m trying to kick a villager out I only stay on the day long enough to see who has the thought bubble, missed Bunnies birthday when I’d TT’d to May but plan to celebrate it when playing on the right days when it comes back round.

I've forgotten a few times, because I don't play every single day and I also TT.
that being said, if I like the villager or I still need their picture I will TT back to the day to give them a gift ^-^

I change my villagers around a lot.
And while I don't do it on purpose, if its march, I tend to get people who's birthdays were February. If its August's their birthday was July.

It can get kinda annoying

Animal Crossing villagers get furious/upset/sad (depending on the game version) if you miss a delivery deadline by 1 minute, or if you accidentally open a package, or if you aren’t there when you arrange a visit. But in all the games whenever I missed a birthday they never cared, so I assume since they’re all so ‘tell it like it is’ that they genuinely don’t care

Yes, and I felt super bad about it! If you send them a gift attached to a birthday card the next day, they still recognize it as a birthday gift and thank you.

That’s what I did! When I log today, I’m hoping she’ll recognize it’s for her birthday

Unfortunately, yes. I missed Bea's birthday back in October during the time I had to take a month break from the game. My sister also forgot about it, even though Bea is her favourite villager. We were both sad, especially since she's the only villager on our island where we missed celebrating her birthday.

I haven't missed a single one and I've gone through all my villager's birthdays now I would draw a birthday message on the bulletin for my villagers as well. Even though I did all the birthdays, I forgot to draw ONE bulletin message (Ursala's) and I feel really guilty about that

Yes, plenty of times. Honestly though, they don't seem upset when I do. I only go to birthdays if the villager in question is one of my top favs. If not, I'm fine with missing them. Like IRL

I probably missed like half of my villager's birthdays and I kinda felt bad about it.

I havent missed any birthdays because I still play every day. I almost forgot Hamphrey’s birthday but Isabelle’s announcement reminded me.

I've not so much missed villager birthdays so much as I purposefully didn't participate because I didn't know what to give them without potentially ruining their house's interior design. Granted, I've visited a few of them and did give them clothes that fit their preferred color and/or style, but only some of them. After seeing another thread here on the forums yesterday, though, I intend to visit them all on their birthdays from now on and just give them non-native fruit in wrapping paper. It's better than nothing.

I almost missed Skye's birthday. If I did, I would've TT'd back to at least give her a gift. Hopefully I don't forget about Fauna's today.
